When you are healing from financial chaos. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. You may not control the other person, the timing, the number, the diagnosis, or the outcome. You do control what you agree with and what you bring to Jesus Christ. Healing does not require pretending it did not hurt. Jesus Christ can meet you in the wound without letting the wound become your identity. Do the next faithful thing, then stop trying to carry the part that belongs to God.

Jesus, I do not want an old pattern making today's decision for me. Renew my mind, steady my emotions, and lead me in truth. You are Lord here too. Amen.
